NFL Pro Bowl: Josh Cribbs and DeSean Jackson Made Game Feel Real, but That's It
I applaud NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for trying to make something out of the Pro Bowl game that has been very lackluster for years now.
The only issue with the game is that it has been widely known as just an exhibition game and a chance for players to vacation in Hawaii as the cherry on top of a very long and physical NFL season each year.
Is the game as honor to attend?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Yes, before this year's debacle.
I don't know how many players dropped out of the game, but it literally seemed like 50 of them dropped out due to various reasons.
Four things that Goodell needs to do for next years Pro Bowl: First, limit all the drama and switching out of players that occurred this year. Second, move the game back to Hawaii. Third, once the game gets back to Hawaii, do not require Super Bowl participants to be at the game. Finally, keep the game before the Super Bowl, because I have never seen as much press about the game as I did for this one.
Now, getting to the actual game.
I understand that it is an exhibition game, but, honestly, the only times this game felt like a real football game was when either Cleveland Browns kick returner Josh Cribbs or Philadelphia Eagle's wide receiver DeSean Jackson had the ball in their hands.
Cribbs ran fast and strong, like he has all season long, and Jackson also ran fast and elusive when he was avoiding the AFC defenders.
It is quite obvious that the players respect the game, but they also respect each other and do not want to cause any injuries, but watching a Division IA college game is more exciting than watching the Pro Bowl.
I do not know if that can change do to the nature of the game, but it really is not that fun to watch, and Goodell needs to try to get excitement injected into the game somehow.
Maybe at the very least get some skill competitions going for various positions kind of like how the NBA has the three-point shootout and slam dunk competitions.
Maybe bring back the NFL Quarterback Competition for the weekend along with other event for other players.
Something needs to happen, because all I see the game as is background while I'm on the computer.
