Champions League- Who Will Be In The Next One

Who I think will get the Champions League automatic group stage spots for the 2010-11 season, the number in parantheses represents how many that country gets:

Premier League (3): Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal

These three are away from the rest of the pack in the Prem, the closest too them are Tottenham, 7 points behind. Chelsea, United, and Arsenal just have too much quality too have a big slip up between now and the end of the season.

La Liga (3):  Barcelona, Real Madrid, Valencia

Like in England, Barca and Real are far away from the rest. Barca is 15 pts. ahead of 4th place Mallorca while Real are 10 pts. ahead of Mallorca. Meanwhile Valencia will have a rougher go, they are just 5 pts. ahead of 4th placed Mallorca, but I see Valencia getting the spot despite their financial problems.

Serie A (3): Inter Milan, AC Milan, Roma

It seems in every league there's at least one team you just can't see slipping up big time, in Italy it is Inter. They are 11 points ahead of Napoli in 4th. But after Inter, it gets a bit closer in the Serie A. AC Milan, Roma, and Napoli are just separated by 3 points, while Palermo and Juve are 3 and 4 pts. behind Napoli, respectively. I feel Milan have too much class not to make it, while Roma are doing so good now.

Bundesliga (2): Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich

Once again the Bundesliga seems to be a close league. First through 5th are separated by 6 points. I see Leverkusen continuing to be tops, if not at leat getting a CL spot. And Bayern Munich are likely to be the other team who gets the CL automatic spot.

Ligue 1 (2): Bordeaux, Marseille

Bordeaux are 10 points ahead of 3rd place, so they will most likely make it. Meanwhile Marseille have a game in hand over most teams in the French League, and Lille and Montpellier just don't have what it takes.  Marseille are just one point behind third spot Lille.

Russia: Rubin Kazan, Spartak Moscow. Already qualified.

Ukrainian Premier League (1): Dynamo Kyiv

This could be a close one,  Dynamo are just 2 points ahead of Shakhtar Donestsk, but the Kyiv side also have a game in hand. Dynamo Kyiv have a streak of winning in Ukraine, and I fell they will repeat this feat. Shakhtar are a quality side but they don't seem to perform in the league.

Eredivisie (1): Twente

Though PSV are first right now by two points, Twente will just edge them for a spot in the Champions League, all coming down to the match between Twente and PSV.

Liga I Romania (1): Urnirea Urziceni

Impossible to predict, this league is extremely close. 3 teams are tied for first with the exact same amount of points. But I gave it to Unirea thanks to last season's Liga I win and they got into the Europa League Round of 32, where they meet Liverpool.

Portugues Liga (1): Benfica

Benfica are 3 points behind Braga but Benfica have a game in hand. Braga have had a great start to the season, but Benfica have too much class for them.

Turkish Super Lig (1): Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce are just 1 point ahead of Galatasaray. But they have been performing a lot better this season then last season, they have won 13 games.

Greek Super League (1): Olympiakos

Another one of those leagues where the team that gets the automatic CL spot is just too far ahead. Panathinaikos are 8 poinst ahead of Olympiakos, a change from the last seasons, where normally Olympiakos would be far ahead at this stage.
