Why  would a pitcher like Jon Garland sign on a team like the Padres? And for only something like 5.9 Mil that is a BARGAIN back in 2008 Jon Garland was making 12 mill . I would like to see him back in AL . Jon Garland won 18 games back to back 2005-2006 He is a very good pitcher .. Garland could really help a team like the Twins they have a good team  and they need some pitching I know they are interested in Washburn  Garland is a much better pitcher .  I hope the Padres will be good but I just do not see it .  They did not win with Jake Peavy  I like Jon Garland better than Jake Peavy so lets see what happens . I wish them the best.
