G.O.M.F.! Pro Wrestling Top 25 For Week Three

Ron JohnsonJun 28, 2008

Last week, I guaranteed that this week's events in WWE Programming would have a definitive impact on the Top 25 this week. The boys didn't let me down as the draft raised the bar as well as many questions. Did TNA leave its IMPACT! as well?

Here now is the PW Top 25 for Week Three.

1) Kane (ECW/RAW LW: #5): 1329 points

TOP NEWS

WRESTLING: OCT 02 AEW Dynamite/Rampage Pittsburgh
Monday Night RAW

The Big Red Monster found a new home as he was drafted to RAW. After ending his reign on ECW with a loss to Mark Henry and a tag team victory on SmackDown!, Kane is set to take on Big Show and Henry @ Night of Champions.

2) CM Punk (ECW/RAW, LW: #2): 1270 points

The flagship show got a huge deposit with the acquisition of CM Punk from ECW. Now that he's ended his tenure on ECW with a tag team victory, the question for him is this: When will he cash in that Money in the Bank Briefcase?

3) Matt Hardy (SmackDown!/ECW, LW: #15): 1230 points

The United States Champion teamed with his brother one last time on RAW, then got drafted to ECW after the match. Hardy has a date with Chavo this Sunday, and he's looking to start his "Extreme" career on a high note.

4) The Miz (ECW, LW: #1): 1207 points

Along with his partner, The Miz one a tag match against The Hardyz on Monday night only to get shocked by the appearance of Hornswoggle on Tuesday night. If mind games are on the slate, Finswoggle has the advantage going into Sunday.

5) John Morrison (ECW, LW: #1): 1197 points

The Shaman of Sexy managed to steal a victory on Monday night, but he may have been looking towards Night of Champions a little early as Matt Hardy got a measure of revenge on Tuesday night.

6) Batista (SmackDown!/RAW, LW: #4): 1141 points

SmackDown!'s Animal got a some in-between news when he was drafted to RAW on Monday. But along with former Evolution buddy Triple H, he managed to send a message to La Familia: He's coming for the gold this Sunday.

7) MVP (SmackDown!, LW: #22): 1134 points

The Franchise Playa didn't get drafted last week, and his week didn't get any better as he was triple teamed by the three men who will face off for the ECW Championship. I hear Jericho is looking for an opponent this Sunday.

8) Triple H (RAW/SmackDown!, LW #18): 1125 points

The Game represented RAW for the last time with a win over Mark Henry and the Battle Royal. But after he was drafted to SmackDown!, The Game took it to the resident bullies on Friday night. Now it's The Game vs. Cena this Sunday.

9) John Cena (RAW, LW: #7): 1035 points

The #1 Contender for the WWE Championship tossed out his opponent and brand partner in the battle royal only to watch him get drafted to SmackDown! Now he has a chance to bring the WWE Championship back to RAW this Sunday.

10) Jeff Hardy (RAW/SmackDown!, LW: Unranked): 1050 points

The Rainbow Haired Warrior got to tag with his brother one more time as he was drafted to SmackDown! But after Matt was picked by ECW, Jeff will have to leave his own impact on the SmackDown! Kingdom.
