NBA Draft Links (1/25) Could Bledsoe join Wall in the Draft?

Mark ButerbaughJan 25, 2010

This article tries to assume a situation where John Wall is not the No. 1 pick in the 2010 Draft, instead, they look at Demarcus Cousins?  (Bleacher Report).  The article assumes the New Jersey Nets do not get the first pick, but maybe a team like Golden State.

This article and NBA scout has no doubt, bank it, John Wall will be No. 1.  (amnews.com)

"

“There is no doubt John Wall is the first pick in the draft,” the scout, who has to remain anonymous for draft reasons, said. “And there is a big gap between him and whoever No. 2 is going to be. I don’t know who will go No. 2 in the draft, but whoever it is, there is no doubt the player picked before him will be Wall.”

That seems to be a foregone conclusion. Another scouting director recently told Sporting News that Wall is No. 1 because “he is big, he is fast, he can handle the ball” and compared him to former Memphis standout Derrick Rose.
