Oakland Raiders: What's an inside source?

Ah the bored naysayers are at it again.

First via Jason Cole, then muttered by Matt Loede, from Yahoo Sports and NFL Gridiron Gab, it was reported:

 “Three sources who have had conversations with the Oakland Raiders general managing partner within the past two months said Davis has expressed regret over the team’s off-season spending spree on players and worries about his ability to end the longest-running slump in team history.”

Now, to the proper panic-cryer, this would look serious, and you want to run and hide under the bed.

However, how many rumors, have we seen in the last couple seasons?

Like Kiffin getting fired, forced to resign, Sapp retiring last year, because of Kiffin's age?

It's also fun to notice, regarding the site of NFL Gridiron Gab, the previous article, was only 6 months old....a little desperate for any news, from this site?

Back to the original problem....What is a source?

This article cites several sources close to Davis. Hm mm.....two janitors, and a secretary? How about the car mechanic for the limo, the guy who irons his shirts, and a side walk guy who also sells maps to the Hollywood homes?

Didn't the people in Boston have a near-riot, when they were accused of having tapes, of the Rams' walk-through, before the Super Bowl?

Where did those sources go? Were they proven valid?

A lot of people would say, sure, we can trust the media, after all it's their job to provide unbiased, truthful information.

A look at Cole's past writings, rankings, and rants.....I'd sooner trust Mike Shanahan's opinion on Al Davis.

Think freely, Raider fans. We have a great running game, a youthful QB with a swagger all his own, and an Offensive Line that keeps both working well.

We have a corner game, that will make people afraid to throw against us.

We have an Owner, who isn't afraid to think outside the box, on plans....or for that matter, be worried about Cole's comments.
