Which WWE Superstar Should Win Royal Rumble?

christopher velasquezJan 23, 2010

This is a very loaded question that could have several answers. This article is only focused on finding out which superstar could gain the most from a creative standpoint. I understand that the case could be made that the winner should be able to fill out the most seats at Mania but in the buisness world you need to think long term

First off I will eliminate the wrestlers that should not win the Royal Rumble. The wrestlers that should be excluded are John Cena, HBK, Triple H, Batista, Kane, Great Kahli, Big Show, Santino Marella This wrestlers have been in the main event picture to long or simply would not be the best future investment. Lets face it wrestling fans the WWE needs to focus on making new stars and the Royal Rumble is a great way to make an impact.

It should be clear that Cena is the present and future of WWE but he does not need a Rumble win to establish himself. The following list of wrestlers are Superstars whom should be considered to win the Rumble. Wrestlers such as Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Ted Dibiase, MVP, Miz, Kofi Kingston, and Jack Swagger are all superstars whom would be excellent choices. These young talents would be the best choice for the long term. These wrestling characters are fresh and full of potential.

The Royal Rumble is a great opportunity to make a Superstar. Also a wrestler winning whom the fans dont expect would also add intrigue. I believe that the curiosity of the winner leading into Mania would only increase the ratings. In each of my next articles I will focus on each superstar that I consider to be the best choice to win. I will give in depth analysis to support my answers.
