Missouri Football: Friends 'Til the End

When we created the Mizzourah.net MySpace, we fully expected all of our "friends" to be hot college-aged ladies willing to go the "extra mile" (wink wink) to hang with us internet superstars.  I mean, it's not every day that you can get in contact with such a celeb as HMW.

Instead, we only have one lady friend, Mizzourah regular Mary, and she is engaged.

The news gets worse—her fiance, Josh, also reads Mizzourah.  Dammit, no mackin' there.

So when I opened up the Mizzourah MySpace this morning, I was surprised.  Nope, not another Playmate pledging her allegiance to Mizzourah.

Instead, we get Mizzou's latest D-line commit, Marvin Foster becoming our new friend.  After giving him dap for coming to Mizzou, he's sounding like all of our commits lately...ec-freakin'-static!

"It feels really good to represent the University of Missouri.  I am planning to make the Baylor game!  I do know of Brayden Burnett.  I like that the D-line is representing the DFW (Ed Note: DFW = "Dallas-Fort Worth" for the geographically/abbreviated retarded) area well in the class of 09!  I am very excited about MIZZOU FOOTBALL!!!!!  I appreciate the welcome."

I don't know about you, but the fact that these commits are seeking Mizzou, rather than the other way around as it has been in the past, is as refreshing as a Busch Stadium beer.

So the Baylor game will be repped by two blogging studs (Sleezy and myself) and a Tiger in training.  I, for one, am looking forward to getting housed in Waco making the trip to Baylor.

Since fresh recruit Marvin Foster is our new MS friend, the onus is now on an even newer recruit, QB Ashton Glaser from Springdale, Arkansas.

Springdale should sound familiar—Glaser replaced Mitch Mustain and the town basically got Houston Nutt booted from the job after going apeshit that the Springdale kids weren't playing.  Yeah, there's not much happening in Arkansas.

Glaser means Mizzou could roll into the '09 season with three freshman QBs vying for the starting spot (Gabbert, Dalton, Glaser).  Oh, and all three know the spread offense like HMW knows a Donut Burger at a Gateway Grizzlies game.

Ashton Glaser may be the QB for Team Badass.  Even if he never plays a down at Mizzou, he is hardcore enough to even have his own website dedicated to him and his recruiting travels.

Let me tell you what my site would have had on it when I was 17—Jenny McCarthy, boobs, Jose Lima flipping me the bird at Old Busch, and boobs.
