Interesting Note On Jeff Hardy

According to Dave Meltzer, there are still conflicting reports going around regarding the TNA status of Jeff Hardy. People in TNA are saying that he signed a deal while people close to Hardy are saying it isn't true. The fact that Hardy didn't appear at the PPV or this week's TV tapings seems to indicate the latter.

WWE is still interested in bring Hardy back but it's unlikely something will happen until after his trial is over.

According to one person close to Hardy, it's possible he showed up on the January 4th Impact as a way to get back at WWE. Apparently, Hardy was upset about WWE and CM Punk mocking his arrest on television when he (Hardy) wasn't an active member of the roster.

People close to Hardy also feel that he wasted his time making the TNA appearance since he comes off as a much bigger star in WWE.

This is very interesting. We haven't even seen Shannon Moore on TV or mentioned either. I mean, once he debuted, talks of Homicide against Hardy were going crazy. But ever since then, I don't think Homicide has been on TV and Hardy hasn't been mentioned and neither has Moore. The rumor machine has been crazy ever since Jeff showed up, with talks of even Helms and Matt joining them. But what happened?

It does make sense, though, that he did this to throw it back in the face of Vince because of the bashing they had done to him. Maybe he wasn't getting support from them and felt like they turned their back against him, who knows. Jeff hasn't spoken on anything and neither has Moore.

Or maybe TNA knew they screwed up his debut, wants to make sure the dust has settled before bringing him back. Or maybe know that he is, in fact, going on trial, TNA backed down a bit. Let the spectulation continue. But with Jeff Hardy, as always, expect the very unexpected by the free will spirit.
