Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts: Jan. 15, '10

Ryan LesterJan 16, 2010

Hereโ€™s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

DeJuan Blair, San Antonio Spurs

Blair had 11 points and 16 rebounds for the Spurs. Not quite the 28 & 21 he had in the previous game, but clearly heโ€™s playing well right now.

Boris Diaw, Charlotte Bobcats

Diawโ€™s 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks were a nice follow-up to the 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists he had on Tuesday. Itโ€™s looking like heโ€™s bad. Kudos to you if you stuck with him. If someone dropped him, go get him.

Grant Hill, Phoenix Suns

Hill had 21 points and 6 rebounds last night. Heโ€™s averaging 14.8 points and 8.5 rebounds in his last four games.

Jonas Jerebko, Detroit Pistons

Jonas had 13 points and 8 rebounds last night. Heโ€™s averaging 13.7 points and 8.0 rebounds in his last three games.

Brandon Rush, Indiana Pacers

Rush did a bit of everything with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, a steal, and 3 three-pointers last night. He had just 10 points in his previous four games though, so donโ€™t sweat him.

Wayne Ellington, Minnesota Timberwolves

Ellington had 17 points last night. It was the second straight game with 17 for Ellington. Of course they played a triple-overtime game in the first one and got their doors blown off last night. Keep an eye on him though.

Sam Young, Memphis Grizzlies

Young also had 17 points last night. Heโ€™s hit or miss. He only seems to score big in blowouts either way.

Nick Collison, Oklahoma City Thunder

He had the weakest double-double (10 & 10), but it was a solid game nonetheless. Heโ€™s only useful in daily transaction leagues if youโ€™re looking for rebounds. Heโ€™s averaging 7.6 in his last five games.

Chase Budinger, Houston Rockets

Chase had 17 last night as well, including three long balls. It was his first double-figure game in a month.

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, Milwaukee Bucks

Luc had 13 points and 9 rebounds. He played Golden State so donโ€™t put much weight to it.

Luke Ridnour, Milwaukee Bucks

Luke had 15 points and 8 assists against the Warriors. Heโ€™s been playing well though with 13.5 points and 7.3 assists in his last four games.

Craig Smith, Los Angeles Clippers

The Rhino Craig Smith had 17 points and 5 rebounds. The Clippers seem to be playing musical big men as to who will step up to replace Chris Kaman.

Steve Blake, Portland Trail Blazers

Blake had 18 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 three-pointers with Brandon Roy out. Heโ€™s a good short-term option while Roy (hamstring) is out.
