VIDEO: Memorabilia-Seeking Fans Fall From St. Louis Stands
When searching for a local professional football player to latch onto, St. Louis fans have about as many options as wins this season. One. Steven Jackson. That’s it.
The Rams’ third-year DT, Clifton Ryan, appeared in all 16 games for the Rams and accrued a career-high in tackles in this season. That said, he’s not exactly on the radar of local football memorabilia collectors. Our research is still pending, but interest in Clifton Ryan gear is somewhere between Lawrence Phillips and Marshall Faulk – whose name still occupies nearly as many personalized jerseys as Jackson in St. Louis.
Nevertheless, don’t explain the aforementioned statistics to the fans featured in the video below – who just *had* to have them a piece of Clifton Ryan gear after he chucked his sneakers into the stands before leaving the field following a stellar performance in a 28-6 loss to the 49ers on Sunday.
