Great Fighter, Great Doubt: Just Fight Already

The economy has taken an enormous hit over the past few years.  Unemployment rates are on the rise and layoffs occur on a regular basis.  With that being said, how many people would jeopardize making an upward of forty million dollars in an hour? 

Manny Pacquiao. 

Floyd Mayweather alleges that Pac-Man has been taking performance enhancing drugs (PED) while he denies the allegations.  He actually filed a defamation of character lawsuit against the Mayweathers and Oscar de la Hoya and his company, Golden Boy Promotions.  If Floyd Mayweather is out of line by ASKING him to subject himself to random testing.  However, Pac-Man's promoters also ASKED Floyd to pay ten million penalty per pound if he was overweight.  Floyd and his team gladly accepted that outrageous clause which clearly shows his stance on promoting and negotiating fair fight terms. 

Manny has held firm on not being tested within thirty days of the fight.  This creates a lot of doubt to the fans who believe that he has never taken performance enhancing drugs.  True Pac-Man fans will believe Manny until the truth or lie is revealed.  

I will end this article by asking a rhetorical survey. 

For forty million dollars, how many people would allow testing within thirty days of the fight if they are sure that they are not taking anything?  According to world’s leading Scientist on the issue of Blood Doping, steroid testing and research, the doctor states after being asked how long it takes to flush PED out of the system:

     It can be a matter of hours. It depends on which drug. There are two sides here, the testers and the dopers. Dopers may have very good information and good intelligence. They probably have many people around them. They may not be Nobel Prize Winners but they know their stuff. They know how to keep them clean (the athletes). 

We the fans want to see this fight.  I truly believe that Manny has not taken any PED so let's agree and make the fight.
