Caught In The Draft, Version 1.0
I couldn't resist.
My normal routine has been to wait until after the bowl games (and my pre-preseason Top 10) before dealing with the upcoming NFL Draft. That is, until my 20-year-nephew (20?? Really?? Damn, I am getting old!) kept me up until 330 am talking about who needs what and sharing his opinions on how sick it would be if the Pittsburgh Steelers had a safety combo comprised of USC alums Taylor Mays and Troy Polamalu.
Four hours of sleep and a "You know you're going to write it, so quit lying to yourself" from a close friend later, the genesis of my first mock draft was born.
Merry Christmas....
