Dallas Surging, Eyeing Lakers and The NBA's Best
You've got an MVP Candidate in Dirk Nowitzki, one of the best passer in the history of the game, Jason Kidd. There's more, you have the reigning sixth man of the year, Jason "Jet" Terry and Underrated Defensive player in Shawn Marion aka Matrix. Let's not forget the injured prone Josh Howard, when healthy he can give you 18pt and 6reb any day.
But how about Erick Dampier, the surprising center for the Dallas Mavericks, Averaging 9.8reb, 2 blocks and lets not forget his 8.5ppg. Also you have the arguably the best bench in the league.
As of right now the Mavs trail the Lakers by 3 games and trail the Celtics by only 2 games. Atlanta lost yesterday to Cleveland, making them tied with Dallas for the 5th best team in the league. FYI, Atlanta flies to Cleveland for a back to back against the Cavs. And C's play in Phoenix tonight which should be a good game.
Dallas plays Houston in the two teams 4th meeting of the season. Dallas leads the series 2-1 against the Rockets.
Dallas actually as of now plays better on the road 11-4 then at home { 11-5 }. Dallas plays in Houston on the 31'st, then at Sacramento with the rookie stud Tyreke Evans on the 2nd and then Dallas flies south to Los Angeles to visit the Lakers. Dallas beat the Lakers on the Oct.30 in L.A 94-80.
