Could Nemanja Vidić Leave Manchester United This Summer?

Throughout the last several seasons, Nemanja Vidić has become not only one of the best defenders in Manchester United's recent history, he has also become one of the top defenders in the world.

During 2008 and 2009, Vidić has helped lead Manchester United to the 2008 Champions League title, a Champions League final appearance in 2009, two Premier League trophies, and both a FIFA Club World Cup and Carling Cup.

Also, he has helped Serbia qualify for the 2010 World Cup in a group that contained the 2006 World Cup runner-up France.

But due to Vidić's strong play, he has also become a target of rumors in the transfer market in the last several seasons. Some of the sides that have been linked to Vidić include AC Milan and FC Barcelona from last summer's transfer window, and now Real Madrid have put themselves into the equation with a rumored £20 million bid for the Serbian's services this summer.

After spending £220 million last summer in a new generation of Galáctico's, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez will probably once again spend millions of pounds on superstars next season to continue to make Real Madrid one of the best sides in the world.

But Barcelona could also attempt to undermine Real's effort to get Vidić, as they also could go after the Serbian for an estimated £20 million.

And finally, there is the possibility that Vidić could go to AC Milan, as it has been rumored that the Italian giants could also spend about £20 million on him.

Also, Vidić's wife has already stated that she does not like Manchester and she hates the weather in Manchester, and therefore, she wants to move to a warmer climate.
