Dear Coach Jim Caldwell,
                As a New England Patriot fan thank you for giving up your path to perfection, and resting Peyton Manning and company.  That now makes the Patriots the only team to ever go 16-0 in the regular season.  This might be one of the only positive things written to/about you (Jim), but don’t worry we all understand you have bigger goals. The Superbowl is what every team wants to win, and who cares about a “stupid” little undefeated season which can happen oooooo once every millennium (but whose counting). Ok, I couldn’t be completely positive the one bad part is you let the stink’n Jets win; boy do I hate the Jets, and that stupid fat Rex Ryan. Good job Jim, also your facial expression really shows your passion for the game (C’mon is this guy even alive?)

Now to the Fantasy impact of Caldwell “sticking to his plan” and bench the Colts starters. I don’t have all the percentages, but Peyton Manning must have been in roughly 45% of meaning full games this weekend.  If you were heading into a game with Manning yesterday, you had to have concerns, but not because he wasn’t going to play, but due to the New York Jets defense.

I didn’t make the championship in my leagues, but in one league I’m in with all of my close friends, Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, and Joseph Addai were all starting for one team. They combined for 21 points (with fraction points), and Peyton Manning was actually playing well (14/21 192 passing yards) before he watched Curtis Painter play QB.

This Colts situation might rank #1 for all time Fantasy Football Playoff screw job next to Brian Westbrook taking a knee 2 years ago.
