Did The Colts Steal Your Halloween Candy?

Curtis ClontzDec 28, 2009

Think about your glory days of a Trick-or-Treater.  You were able to rack up on Lemon Heads, Snickers, and a ton of other scrumptious candy.  Imagine if after your last house, you pulled into your own drive way, walked into your own house expecting to tear into your candy bowl and chow down, only to have Mom and Dad take it all away, saying that the health of your teeth is more important.

In a way, that is exactly what the Indianapolis Colts did against the NY Jets on Sunday.  They benched the games best QB and were okay with a loss.  The loss was their first of the season and the one that could be most memorable of this 2009/2010 season.

Sure it was nothing more than a small blemish on a perfect record, but could it be more than that?  Could the momentum of being undefeated really help them in the long run more than a healthy D line?  Only time will tell.

I know that if they are to lose out early in the playoffs, their fans will shower them with much more than foam fingers!

All in all the 18-1 Patriots are known for the 1, not the 18…  The 72 Dolphins are known for 0, as in no losses in a season.  To this day, no team has ever went undefeated and won the title (except for those Dolphins)

Their bubbly is no longer on ice in Miami, and the Colts now have only one goal remaining.  If they do not win this year’s title, then many questions will be asked.  One of which could be what if they had only played the entire game against the Jets.
