In addition to her new ride with JR Motorsports in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, Danica Patrick has also just announced that she is joining many other celebrities in launching a new line of her own perfume.

Patrick has just signed a deal with SA Fragrance, a Boston-based company, to market a signature perfume, called Danica.

SA Fragrance has also launched lines with other female sports celebrities, including their first big success with golfer Annika Sorenstam.

Industry experts estimate that between $7.5 million to $10 million could be generated by the sale of Danica's scent in the first year.  The perfume is set to retail between $29.50 for a vial that will fit into a purse and $54.50 for a 3.4 ounce bottle.

Patrick, who will drive in both the IndyCar Series and the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2010, is no stranger to the world of fashion.  She has posed twice for Sports Illustrated Swim Suit addition, combining her sex appeal with her race cars.

Coinciding with her Nationwide debut, Danica's new perfume will launch in the spring, with a major marketing blitz planned.  An ad campaign in most of the major beauty magazines is planned for March 2010.

Danica's new fragrance will also be marketed at both NASCAR and IndyCar tracks in the spring.

In addition to turkey legs and adult beverages, there is no doubt that the hoity-toity perfume samplers spritzing Danica will be a most interesting addition at the various track venues.
