Fresno State Recruiting Report: Three Players To Make Official Visits

Todd KaufmannDec 26, 2009

After the holidays are over and the ball drops to welcome in a new year, Fresno State will prepare for the arrival of three players making their first official visit to the campus.

Derron Smith, Tyeler Davison and Demetrius Williams will all make their way to Fresno State on Jan. 22 to meet with coaches and staff. Smith is the only one thus far that has received an official offer from the Bulldogs, though that could change after Davison and Williams make their visits as well.

Smith, a 5-foot-10, 173-pound cornerback from Banning HS in Banning, CA., is currently favoring the University of Washington and has made two official visits to the University of Nevada-Reno.

Davison, a 6-foot-1, 281-pound offensive guard from Desert Mountain HS in Scottsdale, AZ., has received offers from Northern Arizona, Portland State and Mountain West teams Air Force and UNLV. Though Davison has not received an official offer from Fresno State, he was told that he could possibly get one during his visit.

Williams, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound quarterback from Inderkum HS in Sacramento, CA, while likely recruited as a defensive back for the Bulldogs, he has gotten offers from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Sacramento State as a quarterback.
