Oakland Is a Few Holes Away

The Raiders have looked terrible and pathetic to the eye of many people for years. However, many fans and some critics came in thinking we can improve this year, and we did. At first the season looked to be a nightmare, but one man has given many fans hope; Bruce Gradkowski. Fans love him because of how smooth he looks during clutch moments of games, and for the wins over the Bengals and Steelers.

At this moment the raiders are 5-9 going in to a optimistic match up against the browns. What would be if Bruce was starter day one? Considering how horrible Russell has played this year it would not be a stretch to say we can eaisly at worst be 7-7 today. If that was the case the Raiders will be in the playoff hunt going into an easy game, and having a chance to finish off at home against Baltimore.

Yes the Raiders are not far away from the playoffs but there needs to be 5 things done in order to get there.

Step 1- Keep Cable. Yes threw all the scrutiny, his players have supported him the whole way and have played hard for him even after being eliminated from the playoffs. It is not what the fans want it is what the team wants, and the team loves Cable.

Step 2- Do not use the first two picks of the draft on a QB. We need to give Gradkowski 100 percent trust of the job. A project QB can be taken with one of our thirds or later to sit, learn, and develop under Paul Hackett one of the best QB coaches of the league.

Step 3- Draft Smart. You all may say Al Davis is a horrible drafter, but have faith this year may be different. Forget Mays, we have great safeties in Huff and underrated Tyvon Branch.

First round- DT or MLB

Second round- if picked DT first round pick MLB here or vice versa.

Third Round A- OT we need help in the trenches

Third Round B- We need a CB to be on the other side of Nnamdi and push the struggling Chris Johnson. This is an area that needs to be improved badly as a result of Chris Johnson consistently being beat.

Fourth Round- A lucrative QB to develop can be taken here. Or maybe a Mardy Gilyard of Cincinnati who is a return specialist. Field Position plays a big role in how we run the plays.

Fifth Round A- OG build the line

Fifth round B,Sixth round, Seventh Round-Best Player Available.

This will fixes a lot of holes on the team.

Step 4- Hire a good Offensive Coordinator. we need a offensive minded coach to run the plays and effective use the talent we have.

Step 5- RUN THE BALL. We need to cut fargas. He has the heart of a champion but doesn't have anything special. If we can get 18 Carrier to Bush the bruiser and 15 carriers and about 5 catches to Darren Mcfadden the change of pace our offense Dynamic.
