A New Year, a New Booker, and New Horizons: TNA Will Get Bigger

Despite my personal feelings on the matter, I think Hogan coming to TNA will amp things up quite a bit.  The guy is one of the most recognized people world wide, that's a fact.

When Hogan makes his way to the TNA Impact Zone for the first time, people will be watching.  Maybe the 3.0 rating Hogan says they will have is out of reach, but you never know.

I for one will be checking out Hogan and Bischoff's results as the year progresses.  With all the recent buzz TNA has been getting, this can only be good for them.

TNA is still filming on a sound stage, if they want to get bigger they have to think bigger.  Having a show in the same place each week is bad for one reason, you will run out of people who are willing to come and pay to see you.

I get that TNA is trying to create a work environment that is easier on their talent, but does that mean you can't travel around the region?  Plenty of TNA talent live far enough away to where they have to fly in each week anyways, why not just have them fly somewhere else each week?

Anyways, TNA has had some major signings recently, and there are more rumored to come.  Sean Waltman, AKA X-Pac has been considered by TNA, Hall is already under contract, and there are people saying Tommy Dreamer may come in on the fourth.

Maybe Dreamer could finally put his feud with Raven to rest and finally get a victory over the guy.  There are a few older ECW guys in TNA so Tommy would feel right at home in the smaller venue.

With Hogan saying that the show will be more about the wrestling and less about the storylines, I think a lot of people will tune in to see what happens, if not for a few months then for a long time.

I may not agree with the decision to have Hogan come in, but I certainly see the logic in the decision.  Let's hope WCW stays dead and we don't see a Resurrection in the form of TNA.
