Who Should Win the WWE Title from Sheamus?

Sheamus became one of the quickest WWE Champions in History when he won the Title from John Cena at the TLC PPV last month.  Since then, both the Internet Wrestling Community as well as the Stars of WWE have all had their opinions on the matter.

Some people feel he was still too green, no pun intended, to become the WWE champion, while others view this as a breath of fresh air.  This certainly makes Sheamus a force to be reckoned with in the WWE.

The thing I have been wondering since he won the title is, who will win it from him?  He has to lose it eventually because after all, he ins't Bruno Sammartino, and he won't hold the belt for 11 years.

John Cena is the likely choice but the WWE may feel he has held the belt enough for the time being so they may decide to go in a different direction with his character.  Right now, the WWE would probably steer clear of Orton facing Sheamus as Heel vs Heel matches are rare.

So, who else is there who could step up to the WWE title?  Right now, the official Raw roster has only three other former WWE champions: Big Show, HBK, and HHH.  Since DX is holding the unified tag titles, they are most likely not going to win the WWE title.  Big Show is still technically a heel, despite getting some good fan reactions in certain cities. 

So that only leaves guys who have never held the title before.  Jack Swagger has been mentioned by some as a future champion, but the WWE seems to either want him back on ECW or not wanting to push him at all. 

MVP could be a contender, but he seems to have leveled off with his push as well.  Mark Henry is a guy who looks like he could be WWE champion but has never been over enough with the crowds.  Since becoming a babyface, he seems to have been re-invigorated but he may not be a choice for the main title of a brand.

Chris Masters has had shots at the WWE title before, and since he is a good guy now, he could end up facing the Celtic Warrior, but he is still fresh off being rehired after being released for wellness policy violations, so he is an unlikely choice at this point.

The Miz is the US champion, and he and Evan Bourne seem to have a mini feud going so they are both unlikely choices.  If either Cody or DiBiase turn on Orton and become faces then they could be in the running for a shot, but we will have to see.

We all know that Primo and Carlito won't be getting an title shots anytime soon, and the same can be said for Santino.  Kofi had been pushed really hard in the last few months, which leads me to believe he is the logical choice.

While some may say he is still too much of a rookie to hold the WWE title, I say look at who is champion now.  Kofi is exciting, gets great fan support, and has shown he can hold a match with WWE's top heel, Randy Orton.

I know it will most likely be Cena who beats Sheamus for the Belt, but if it is not, then I think it should be Kofi.  He has proven he can stay healthy, injury free, and is young enough to be a champion many more time in his career.
