World Football Transfer Updates : The 'Hot' Properties!

Here we are with another quickfire edition of Transfer Updates and we look at some 'hot properties',Cristiano Ronaldo has been deliberately dropped from our squad and you know why.

David Villa (Striker) : Valencia and Spain

A source close to David Villa believes the Spaniard has already decided to stay put at Valencia,a decision which would disappoint the likes of Barcelona,Real Madrid,Liverpool and Chelsea.

David Villa was being valued at a price of upto 38 million euros.

Emmanuel Adebayor (Striker) : Arsenal and Togo

Here's another report which could 'annoy' Arsenal supporters,Barcelona are desperate to land Hleb but he's not the only one from North London who attracts the Catalans,Barcelona are constantly trying to snap up Adebayor as well.

Earlier,reports in the Tabloids claimed a 25 million euro deal had been agreed for Adebayor and this is despite the fact that Arsene Wenger is keen on keeping the ex-Monaco striker at the Emirates Stadium,AC Milan have already been pushed aside but Barcelona are not willing the back off.

It is believed the Catalan Giants have thrown in their last card,they've given Arsenal the two for two option,a move with would see Hleb and Adebayor going to the Nou Camp while Samuel Eto'o and Yaya Toure will both be headed in the opposite direction.

However,this time it's not a rumour,Arsene Wenger's deputy,Pat Rice was quoted as saying Arsene Wenger is "willing to consider the offer".

Lukas Podolski (Striker) : Bayern Munich and Germany

The German striker is currently participating in the European Championships with Germany.Podolski spilled the beans saying Tottenham Hotspurs and Inter Milan were interested in him and that opened the flood gates for growing speculation about his proposed transfer to host of clubs in Europe.

Spurs are believed to be preparing a 13 million euro bid for Podolski who has been out of favour recently at Bayern Munich.

David Bentley (Right Winger) : Blackburn Rovers and England

David Bentley is at the centre of a tug of war between Everton,Aston Villa,Liverpool,Tottenham,Chelsea and Manchester City,all of whom are interested in securing the services of the want away Blackburn player.

Bentley's stunning performances last season made him an important player for both club and country,some terming him as David Beckham's successor.

While all five other clubs have settled at a price of 12 million pounds for Bentley,Aston Villa is prepared to put to cat amongst the pigeons with a 15 million pound offer in a bid to land the highly tipped English winger.

• West Ham defender Anton Ferdinand will have to choose between Tottenham,Manchester United,Manchester City and Aston Villa as all of the interested parties are planning to submit similar bids.

• Frank Lampard's meeting with Scolari could be a mere formality as it is believed Lampard has decided to join Inter Milan.
• Real Zaragoza have recieved no offer for Sergio Garcia or Diego Milito from Tottenham Hotspurs
• Spurs are in the midst of things again trying to snap up Fiorentina's Santana.
• Manchester United's striker hunt has come down to : Berbatov,Huntelaar,Martins,Owen,Fabiano,Vucinic and Eto'o following Lyon's confirmation of Benzema being not for sale.
• Thaksin Shinawatra has handed Mark Hughes his shop list which prominently features Ronaldinho,Jo,Danijel Pranjic,Anton Ferdinand and Obafemi Martins
• Portsmouth and Aston Villa will fight out a 10 million pound quest to land Chelsea's Wright Phillips
• Newcastle are very close on landing Arda Turan and losing Charles N'Zogbia but the Frenchmen has changed his mind about Wigan.
• Aston Villa will use the funds from Barry's transfer to land Newcastle's Milner.
