Pro Football 101: WR Fantasy Rankings for Week 16 (Playoffs)
1. WR Larry Fitzgerald vs. St. Louis Rams
While the Cards have clinched the NFC North, they're still playing for a potential No. 2 seed in the NFC. Which means Fitzgerald will keep on playing. Against a porous secondary, which was just torched by Andre Johnson, expect Fitzgerald to top 100 yards with two TDs on Sunday.
2. WR Randy Moss vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Moss bounced back after a week of criticism with a 70-yard game and one score. The Jags secondary is vulnerable to the deep pass and we like Brady and Moss to hook up on at least one long TD in Week 16.
3. WR Andre Johnson vs. Miami Dolphins
Justin Gage just got free for two TDs against the Dolphins secondary in Week 15, so you know this unit can be beat. Johnson's been beating every defense he sees and we expect another 125 yard plus game and a score down in Miami.
4. WR Steve Smith vs. New York Giants
The Giants secondary still has coverage woes and you can be sure that Steve Smith will exploit it. His speed and skill will be too much over the middle of the field and we think Smith will top 100 yards with one TD.
Sleepers
1. Austin Collie vs. New York Jets
With Darrelle Revis likely blanketing an unhealthy Reggie Wayne, expect Peyton Manning to look elsewhere. Our money is on Austin Collie and we like for the rookie receiver, who's an excellent fantasy sleeper this week, to score again.
2. Greg Camarillo vs. Houston Texans
Chad Henne is quietly becoming a better QB each and every week he plays. And now that they're running a more pro style offense, it provides more opportunity for his receivers. Camarillo has once again stepped up and we think he'll find the end zone in Week 16.
Others We Like
DeSean Jackson vs. Denver Broncos
Even if the Broncos try and lock Jackson up with Champ Bailey, they better find help. Baily doesn't run like he once did and Jackson will torch him for a long one. Either way, expect an explosive play (~50 yard TD) and 100 yards receiving.
Chad Ochocinco vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs' defense in horrible. They don't pressure the QB and they don't cover well. Ochocinco is playing inspired ball after the death of Chris Henry and we think he catch a handful of balls plus a score on Sunday.
Calvin Johnson vs. San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers are still vulnerable against the deep ball, which is what Calvin Johnson excels at. If not for the inconsistency at the QB position, Johnson would be amongst the league leaders. Regardless, he'll beat the Niners secondary for one long TD.
