Who Will Take Down The Colts?...The Team a Couple Hours Down I-74!

The Cincinnati Bengals are the team that will take down the Colts. What does it take to beat Peyton Manning?....play keep away.

 The Bengals will take their 5th ranked rushing offense against the Colts 16th ranked rushing defense. They are 16th only because teams get behind a have to pass, pass, pass. Grind it out, stay with the gameplan and don't get caught up in a shootout against Manning. Keep him off the field. Rushing defense is where the Colts are most vunerable. A huge and improving Bengal O-line coupled with hard runners like Cedric Benson and Larry Johnson, I look for the Bengals to manhandle the smal, but quick, Colts front seven.

 On defense, the Bengals have Johnathon Joseph and Leon Hall at CBs. We all know Peyton Manning can tear you apart if he has time to throw it. What will bring down the Colts is their lack of a rushing threat. The Bengals are 3rd in the league against a Colt team that is 31st rushing the ball. Look for the Bengal defense to get pressure on Peyton because they don't respect the Colts rushing attack.

 Can the Bengals perform up to their abilities against an awesome Colt offense? I say yes because the Colts don't run the ball very well and the Bengal safeties will be all over the place.

 The Bengals winning formula against the Colts is pretty basic.

 Run the football effectively which will keep Manning on the sideline. Win the turnover battle. These are not the same old Bengals and they will show it come January, 2010.
