Milka Duno: Danica Patrick Beaten In Daytona Test, Can She Get Over It?

Guess who was one of the fastest drivers (thirteenth out of sixty-three) in Saturdays  ARCA tests at Daytona?

I guess the headline told you that.

Milka Duno was the surprise of the day, Milka was the second fastest among the ladies, just behind Allie Owens who I understand is an experienced stock car driver.

In Sunday's test Duno also posted the third fastest time, until a broken piston sidelined her for the rest of the day. (hard to believe they only had one car for the test)

Milka Duno surprisingly beat Danica Patrick's time on Saturday and Sunday!

Just goes to show, you never know about racing.

If I was a betting man, I would of put the house up on Danica Patrick having a great day and Milka Duno putting her car into the wall.

This test has to have the old man Robin Miller all up in arms, Mr. Miller who is a long time racing commentator has made it clear on The Speed Report that Milka Duno should not be in a race car.

Well I guess "al asifyouknow" also has the right ,as a fan, to have an opinion on him and Milka Duno.

First lets talk about Milka Duno, in her third year of Indy racing she has not set the world on fire but she is not the worse INDY has to offer.

Milka participated in only nine of the 17 IRL schedule, that is a part time driver! and has only one DNF, that's a good record.

The only part time driver in any series that I know of who did well was Mark Martin and he is a NASCAR superstar.

It's almost impossible to do well in a any series, as a part time driver in a below average team.

So I'm going to give her a pass on her IRL record , we will see how see does in better equipment if she gets a chance to drive in ARCA.

As for Robin Miller, well lets just say he's irrelevant in my eyes, he has nothing interesting to say , he reminds me of a punch drunk fighter trying to hold on to his glory days, his microphone should be taken away.

Now, I'm laughing my rear off as I say that!, hopefully Mr. Miller can take it with the same calmness as he dishes it out.

Milka Duno does deserve chance to earn a seat for Todd Braun’s # 90 Toyota, no matter what Robin Miller says!
