Who's Afraid of The BIG BAD LAKERS

Dexter BoucaudDec 22, 2009

I ask the question are the Lakers the best team in the league?  My answer is  A definate YES!  I know many are thinking how can you say this, well here is why.  The Lakers are like a puzzle that posses a number if individual pieces that are oddly shaped and do not fit in anywhere else.  At least until the Zen master started putting the image together.

Phil Jackson has taken all of these pieces and made them into a beautiful image, and that is the Show that is watched everytime that the Lakers are on the court.  Don't get me wrong they loose every now and again, but they win a lot more.

Kobe is hands down the best player in the league, Gusol is one of the best big man in the league, Ron Ron is still a top wing player and defender.  Bynam is a Top 10 big man.  Odom is the most versatile player in the game.  Fish is good old reliable.  The bench is ridiculous.

Put them up against any team in the West or  East and it's lights out.  Last year they won the West without Bynum and the championship also.  This year they are all healthy and getting stronger.  Imagine what Kobe is going to be like not having to guard the next team best offensive wing threat during the playoffs!

Who can beat them?  Many would say the best option is Boston, but this is not the same team that faced them two years ago.  Here's a scary thought the Lakers believe that they can still play better and will become better after the All-Star break, WOW!
