Dallas Wants To Re-Write Recent December History
At first look after yet another winless start to another December in Dallas it would be easy to give up on "America's Team". However, let me shed a little hope for those Cowboys fans out there. In this article I hope to outline three reasons why not to give up yet.
1. Pride
If you wear the blue and silver it gives you a since of pride because you are possibly playing or rooting for the most recognized team in the National Football League. The Dallas Cowboys do not have history on their side but, the drought has to end at some point right? Dallas has not been to the playoffs since the embarrassment in 2007, (the year Tony Romo botched the hold against the Seattle Seahawks) and have not won in the playoffs since the 1995 season's Super Bowl. ( beating the Pittsburgh Steelers) There is still time!

2. The remaining schedule (@N.O., @Wash, Philadelphia)
Now before start laughing at me let me explain myself. Believe it or not the schedule benefits the Cowboys. Why? First, the Saints are currently 13-0, they have locked a playoff spot, a first round bye, and home-field advantage. This is a huge trap game for the Saints. Dallas has had great success when it comes to playing the Washington Redskins in recent years. When it is comes to the Eagles only one word needs be said--REVENGE--from last year.
3. It ain't over til its over
Are they mathematically eliminated yet? --NO-- enough said. Until they are let's not give up yet...then again there is always the option to select Sam Bradford in the 2010 NFL Draft...just a thought...
