A Fond Farewell to Our Co-Founder, Zander Freund

After a lot of hard work and success, one of our beloved founders, Zander, has chosen to move on to a new adventure.

Sports are just one of Zan’s many passions, and after four great years at B/R, he’s decided the time is right to pursue other interests.  

Zander was key to building the wonderful, unique community we have today, and he worked tirelessly to create a positive, collaborative culture that has helped Bleacher Report earn a reputation as the biggest and best community-powered sports site on the web.

As B/R continues its incredible ascension as a powerful new voice in mainstream sports media, we’ll look to the most passionate Bleacher Creatures to lead by example, and carry our community forward to new heights.

We always knew we probably wouldn't be able to keep a team of four together forever but are thrilled it lasted this long. We will cherish our work experiences with Zander as we move ahead, and we wish him the best and look forward to his next success.

Zander will be available to the company as an Adviser, and we also anticipate that Zan will continue to write, comment and cheer on the community from the bleachers.
