This is the TNA IMPACT! Recap.

As the show opens, Jay Lethal is @ The Pink Taco calling out Sonjay Dutt for a fight. Also, scenes are shown of last week's broadcast.

Opening Bout: Booker T defeats BG James

Booker T wasted no time in this contest as he attack James outside the ring before the bell rang. After the brutality on the outside, Booker rolls him into the ring and continues the assault. As James tries to fight back, Booker levels him with knees and spinning martial arts kicks.

He follows it up with a headlock as TNA World Champion Samoa Joe looks on in the back. As BG starts to fight back, it's too little too late as Booker lands the Scissors Kick to end the match and pick up the win.

In the back, Kevin Nash and Samoa Joe are having another confrontation. Following some heated words from Joe, Nash accepts the Champ's challenge to face Booker T next week on IMPACT!

Back from commercial, Mike Tenay and Don West give us a preview of this year's World X Cup.

Second Bout: Team TNA defeats Team International (World X Cup)

Team captain Daivari and Tyson Dux represent Team International while the Motor City Machine Guns represent Team TNA in this World X Cup match. Dux and Alex Shelley start this match trying to figure each other out. Following a double team on Dux, the Guns have the early advantage as Daivari comes in and gets squashed by his partner via a rope launch from Chris Sabin.

Shelley comes in and continues the assault but Daivari's interference gives Team International the advantage. Shelley counters into a back suplex and gets the tag to Sabin. Sabin has complete control until an interference from Daivari gives his team control once more. In the meantime, AJ Styles is taking out Tomko in the locker room with everything in sight.

Back from break, Team International has the advantage, but Sabin recovers and tags in Shelley. Shelley comes in and cleans house. After Shelley hits the DDT and Frog Splash on Daivari, Sabin enters and helps his partner, but Dux drops the Brainbuster. But Shelley hits the Sliced Bread on Daivari for the win and the points for Team TNA.

Outside, Styles is continuing his Revenge Tour as he takes out who he thought was Kurt Angle. But it turned out to be the UFC's Ultimate Waste of Space, Frank Trigg. Oh well. No one will lose sleep tonight.

Back on IMPACT!, Tenay and West are interviewing Karen Angle about her future with TNA. She makes it crystal clear that she will not be intimidated by Kurt, and she will be back in the IMPACT! Zone next week.

IMPACT! returns with scenes from the aftermath of last week's tag title match. Back in the Zone, Jim Cornette is introducing LAX to the ring. LAX then issues a challenge to Roode and Storm to a Fan's Revenge Match at Victory Road. Cornette then asks for the opponents to come out, but instead of Roode and Storm, Jacqueline comes out.

She spends the entire time egging on a fight with Salinas, which Cornette makes official for later tonight.

Not even before the ring clears, Awesome Kong comes out to issue another $25,000 Challenge to the fans in the IMPACT! Zone.

Third Bout: Awesome Kong defeats Taylor (barely)

After shoving her opponent, Kong gets her bell rung several times as Taylor gets in all the shots on the outside before moving it inside. Back in the ring, though, Kong takes over and continues to drop the persistent Taylor.

After Raisha Saeed introduces a chair into the match, Taylor dropkicks it into Kong's face and uses it early and often. She then climbs to the top rope and takes down the giant with a missile dropkick. Kong slips outside after the near fall, and after catching Taylor from the top rope, she rams her into the steel post.

But Taylor fights back for a moment, but gets leveled with a clothesline. Kong sets her up for the Bomb, but Taylor wiggles out and tries a hurracanrana. Unfortunately, she can't pull off the counter and gets dropped with the Awesome Bomb. Kong survives Taylor, but rest assured, Taylor will be back to challenge another day.

In the back, Team 3D takes out Rhino for the second straight week by putting him through a table.

Fourth Bout: Kaz defeats Alex Koslov (World X Cup Preview)

Kaz and Koslove try to feel each other out as the match begins, but after Koslov tries to get some fanfare, Kaz takes control with a dropkick. But after a spinning heel kick and springboard to the outside, Koslov gains the advantage followed by a series of Russian Kossack Kicks.

Then both men exchange near falls until Koslov uses the Reconstruction to gain the momentum. But after countering the Russian Leg Sweep, Kaz lands the DDT. After dropping the spin kick, Koslov misses the Russian Splash and Kaz uses that miscue to nail the Wave of the Future for the victory.

Backstage, Christian Cage says he isn't worried about the main event. Where others see a problem, he sees a "Phenomenal" opportunity.

Fifth Bout: Jay Lethal defeats Sonjay Dutt (The Pink Taco Brawl)

Back on IMPACT!, Sonjay Dutt arrives at The Pink Taco and confesses to Jay Lethal that he's in love with SoCal Val...and that she is in love with him. With that, Lethal snaps and goes ballistic on The Guru. After a flying elbow drop, Lethal uses anything and everything that he can get his hands on to pummel Dutt.

After throwing him in a security door, Lethal spears Dutt through the door, breaking it in the process. Unfortunately, Dutt manages to escape out of The Pink Taco, but this war is far from over in the eyes of Lethal.

Sixth Bout: Jacqueline defeats Salinas

Salinas comes out on fire with a Lou Thesz Press followed by a series of punches. But after missing a cross body, Jackie takes control. After an assault on the outside and a T-Bone Suplex, Jackie gets caught in an Electric Chair Drop. Salinas recovers and hits the Latina Slam, but Jackie counters with a modified Dragon Sleeper to pick up the win.

Following the match, Jackie pulls out a leather strap and gets in some shots on both Salinas and referee Slick Johnson before leaving the ring.

Main Event: AJ Styles & Christian Cage defeat Team 3D

Cage and Styles wasted no time as they bolted out of the ring and bum rush Team 3D. The fight is still on, but it is only after Styles and Brother Ray are in the ring that the match officially begins. Team Cage keep Ray in check until a back toss gives 3D the advantage. D'Von comes in and continues the assault until a corkscrew elbow changes the momentum.

Following a botched flight, Team 3D goes on the offensive. After they bring a table to the ring, Christian Cage hits a dropkick to send the two to the arena floor. Styles follows up and uses Cage as a springboard to flip over the top rope to Team 3D.

Back on IMPACT!, Team 3D has the advantage and continues to assault the neck of AJ Styles. The 20x Tag Champs use an interference from Cage to keep control and nail the "Wassup!" D'Von continues the pressure, but Styles recovers, counters and tags in Cage.

Cage goes straight postal and takes down both men. Cage and D'Von are battling it out and The Instant Classic uses Ray's own momentum against him as he splashes D'Von. Team 3D uses a Reverse 3D to slow down the momentum, but Styles blind tags and comes in to pick up where he left off. After sending Ray to the outside, Styles nails the Pele and the Inverted DDT to pick up the win.

Following the match, Frank Trigg comes down to run interference as Kurt Angle blindsides both Cage and Styles. Angle places the Ankle Lock on Styles, then stands over a pain-ridden Styles as TNA goes off the air.

Quick Reminder: Next week on IMPACT! it's the #1 Contender for the TNA World Championship Booker T going one on one with Big Sexy Kevin Nash!
