Tiger Woods Has Taken the 10-Count; Wave It Off

All right, enough is enough. Tiger has been knocked down twice and is currently taking a standing eight-count.

Now it is time to let the man alone, and allow him to attempt to put the toothpaste back into the tube. It is going to be a long, hard process, but hopefully he will be able to do it.

I believe the last count was 14 women (all cocktail waitresses?) who have alleged sexual trysts with the worlds No. 1-rated golfer. One affair nearly got his Cadillac ruinus maximus .

No. 2 caused him to write a late night check to Gloria Allred’s client for at least a million bucks (according to her daughter on one of the news shows). It is unimaginable what the fallout could be from numbers three through 14.

To add fuel to the blazing hot fire, an ESPN report alleges a former doctor of Tiger Woods is being linked to Human Growth Hormone (HGH). Of course speculation is now running rampant that Tiger got his ripped body from a bottle of pills.

Personally, I wouldn’t doubt it for a minute that he has been a user of steroids. Maybe Congress should look into this (I am just being humorous).

On and on we go. When will it end?

The “need to know” of the American people is beginning to bloat to fatally obese proportions. I mean, geez Louise, the man hasn’t been out of the house in weeks. Is he still alive?

All Tiger Woods should be to the average American is the greatest golfer in the world.

That’s it. Period.

We don’t need to know how many women he has been “jiggy” with. We don’t need to hear all the sexy or romantic phone messages he has left to other women. We don’t need to know how well endowed he is, or any such thing.

In light of his recent announcement about taking an extended hiatus from the sport he dominates, I wonder what the time line truly looks like.

I personally think it will be months before he changes his mind. He doesn’t happen to have an 18-hole course inside his house, does he?

I admired him as a golfer and still do. I have lost all respect I had for him in other aspects of life. He is a poor substitute as a role model for your children and mine.

He is a poor model for husbands everywhere. As a father, he has failed miserably with his various and sundry sexual misdemeanors.

But in the name of everything Mercy, back off a bit and let the guy go. If you were the one being publicly scorned and vilified, would you want to bleed like this every day? It is truly a death of 1,000 cuts. The bleeding doesn’t seem to stop.

As for his wife, I have no clue how she will ever be able to re-braid the strands of their marital fabric. One affair would be difficult to overcome, two or three would be the maximum allowance for any “fair minded” woman. So, how she can deal with 14 extra marital affairs is unimaginable.

Let him go guys, I beg you. Wait a few months, another big name athlete or politician will be found out, and we can “slime” him for weeks.
