Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts: Dec. 15, 2009
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Rafer Alston, New Jersey Nets
19 MIN, 20 PTS, 7-14 FG, 2-2 FT, 4 3PM, 1 REB, 3 AST, 1 STL, 1 TO
Alston rebounded from a two point dud. Even with that dud, he’s averaging 13.2 points over his last five games. He’s a decent option in daily transaction leagues if you’re looking for some points, steals, and assists.
Jared Jeffries, New York Knicks
37 MIN, 11 PTS, 4-16 FG, 2-4 FT, 1 3PM, 5 REB, 3 AST, 6 STL, 2 BLK
Jeffries is averaging 3.5 steals over his past four games. He’s a great pickup in daily transaction leagues if you need help in that category.
Dorell Wright, Miami Heat
24 MIN, 16 PTS, 7-11 FG, 1-1 FT, 1 3PM, 8 REB, 3 AST, 1 STL, 1 BLK
Wright is averaging 13.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists over his past four games.
Brad Miller, Chicago Bulls
36 MIN, 15 PTS, 6-11 FG, 8 REB, 6 AST, 2 STL, 2 BLK, 2 TO
Miller is averaging 12.0 points and 8.7 rebounds over his last three games.
Jonas Jerebko, Detroit Pistons
40 MIN, 15 PTS, 6-12 FG, 3-3 FT, 6 REB, 2 AST, 2 STL, 3 TO
Jonas is averaging 12.8 points and 7.2 rebounds over his past nine games.
Chase Budinger, Houston Rockets
40 MIN, 16 PTS, 6-11 FG, 3-3 FT, 1 3PM, 12 REB, 5 AST, 2 TO
Chase had a big game, but his increased playing time was due to Trevor Ariza’s suspension. Tracy McGrady returned last night, which limits Budinger’s fantasy value.
Roger Mason, San Antonio Spurs
31 MIN, 19 PTS, 7-13 FG, 5 3PM, 5 REB, 1 STL, 3 TO
Nice game for Mason, but he doesn’t have a large enough role with the Spurs to consider.
Goran Dragic, Phoenix Suns
22 MIN, 18 PTS, 7-9 FG, 4 3PM, 3 REB, 1 AST
Nice game, but doesn’t get enough run to consider.
