Tiffany Daniels: Taking 'Snow' to South Africa

Mary Jo BuchananSenior Writer IDecember 16, 2009

Tiffany Daniels is one of NASCAR's up-and-coming female racers, participating in the Drive for Diversity Program and the Camping World Series East.

She has recently been invited to race in South Africa and contacted Bleacher Report to share her personal diary as she makes her most exciting trip to South Africa, representing herself and her country in one of the world's most prestigious races.

The following is Tiffany's second installment from her diary as she and her team prepare themselves and the car for the big trip across the world.

In this installment, Tiff shares the news of several new sponsors that she will be taking to South Africa.

I have exciting news to share today!  My No. 19 Marc Davis Motorsports Toyota Camry has three new sponsors.  First is SnowTheRacehorse.com, an upcoming children's book series about a race horse that teaches kids valuable life lessons.

Our second new sponsor is upscale Swiss skin care line Skincode.com, who is coming on board as an associate sponsor. HINT Water is joining in the fun as a product sponsor, distributing their vitamin-based water to teams and humanitarian visits during the trip.

The Adventures of Snow the Racehorse is a planned series of children's books for young race fans and environmentalists. The first book of five, Snow Takes the Checker, is available for pre-order on Amazon.com and will be released to the public during the week of the Freestate 500.

Hoping to bring the lessons of friendship, teamwork, and being comfortable in their own skin to the children of both the United States and South Africa, Snow will visit the country with me.  Possible visits include the Oprah Leadership Academy for Girls and UNICEF projects within South Africa.

While I am looking forward to representing the USA in the first stock car motorsports race in South Africa, I am most excited about being able to inspire South Africa fans
especially the women and young girls. It sends a great message to dream big and believe in their ability to achieve those dreams.

With all our new great sponsors, we hope to have a great race while also making a difference. I also cannot thank Marc Davis enough for letting me run his car and Spraker Racing for prepping it.
