Main Story:  More Jake Locker roundup

There is more draft roundup news to do on the decision by QB Jake Locker to return to Washington for his senior season.  What’s the fallout, the draft effects?

First, at QB, one of the top teams in the NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns, may very well be in market for yet another first round quarterback.  There have been two reports now linking former Notre Dame Charlie Weis to the Washington Redskins  and a possible reunification between Weis and QB Jimmy Clausen.

Before allowing yourself to run too rampant on that idea, don’t forget, most likely, the Cleveland Browns will pick before Washington and may very well look at Clausen themselves.  Eric Mangini has not committed to Brady Quinn for next season.  Then again, have the Brow3ns committed to Mangini next season? Seahawks Draft Blog writes on the benefit Locker’s decision may have on Ryan Mallett.  (Seahawks Draft Blog)  Good read.  I think the biggest beneficiary here of the Locker call is Ryan Mallett.  It may solidify Mallett, should he decide to come out, as a first round draft pick.  Then again, Mallett could follow Locker’s decision and return to Arkansas.
