The '09 Slammy Awards

This is my first article since the summer so I may be rusty. I also apologize for the picture because I tried putting up Kayne interrupting Taylor Swift so they put in a picture for me.

Tonight was the 2009 WWE Slammy Awards. 

We saw many awards given out, heard really bad award music, and the fall out of TLC.

It started with "The Shocker of the Year" went to C.M. Punk for "retiring" Jeff Hardy. Who then had a match with the Former, WWE Champion John Cena. In which we saw Cena in his supposed most intense after losing the title to Sheamus which is another story. After the Match Cena vowed that he would challenge Sheamus to a rematch later tonight.

I'll just tell you the other winners because I missed parts of Raw earlier tonight 

Breakout Superstar of the Year: Sheamus 

I'm glad I missed that because his complexation would blind me through my HDTV. 

Match of the Year went to the Wrestlemania 25 match between Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker. This I did see after the acceptation of the award by Shawn Michaels he challenged The Undertaker again at Wrestlemania 26. 

The Extreme Moment of the Year was Jeff Hardy pulling off a Swanton off a ladder at Summerslam. Who was accepted by his brother Matt Hardy. 

Guest Host of the Year went to Bob Barker.

"Oh My" Moment of the Year went to Michael Cole vomiting on Chris Jericho.

Tag Team of the Year was Jeri-Show. After that we saw a rematch between Jeri-Show and DX, as well as Jericho's final match on Raw.

The Diva of the Year went to Maria. Who then was interrupted by Batista in a Kanye-Taylor Swift like moment.

In our Main Event, it was John Cena vs Randy Orton for Superstar of the Year. If there were Rivalry of the Year the winner would be these two. The match was a great back and forth between these two, but in the end it was John Cena who became Superstar of the Year. And Just when I thought I would not see Sheamus again he comes out just to taunt John Cena ending the show.
