2010 Free Agent Targets For Buffalo
At this point in the season fans of the bad teams are looking forward to the off-season and i am right there with them. The inevitable mock drafts have already started and prognosticators with mediocre knowledge of team needs outside of their own team are rolling the dice. There is one sure thing though....free agents.
Here are a list of some people that the Bills could be interested in or at least i would like to see in training camp 2010....
TROY SMITH - QB - Baltimore Ravens by way of Ohio State

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
A heisman trophy winner and great team player that could re-sign with Baltimore but i think has an itch to try his hand on another team that he could start on. Very mobile and accurate in the pocket but small in stature by NFL standards.
LANCE MOORE - WR - New Orleans Saints by way of Toledo
Quality WR on a team that has an abundance of them and will have a hard time signing him to a new contract with other players needing re-signed. After a breakout season last year he has seen his role limited this season due to the steady health and emergence of Robert Meachem.
GARRED GAITHER - OT - Baltimore Ravens by way of Maryland
Solid tackle with great size and mobility on a team with a superstar in the making breathing down his neck in Michael Oher. He wants big left tackle money and i don't see him getting it in Baltimore with Oher right there. Plus Drew Rosenhouse is his agent.
ELVIS DUMERVIL - OLB - Denver Broncos by way of Louisville
Ok, this is a bit of a pipe dream i think....but a man has that right. I followed this guys college career and wanted the Bills to draft him originally after watching him fall and fall and fall in the draft (4th rd 125 pick). So here is my thinking....i would like to see the Bills switch to the 3-4 and he fits right in now that he has switched to OLB. Also he is a Shanahan draft pick so that couldnt hurt if he became our new coach.
Overall i dont know what direction the Bills will be headed this offseason other than getting a new head coach (right?). This will surely be followed by a change in offensive and defensive philosophies and possibly losing some long=time players on both sides of the ball. Lets just hope that we jump into the off-season with both feet and make a big splash before the draft so that we arent always looking past January.
