That "Nightmare" Wasn't Scary! Penn Reigns

Dustin KimbrellDec 14, 2009

This was suppose to be the biggest threat to BJ Penn's title. After UFC 107 Saturday night, I don't think anyone poses a threat to Baby J anymore. The destruction of Diego Sanchez really says something!

The fight was a good one...if you're BJ Penn, if you're Diego Sanchez...get back in the gym becasue you looked awful. Actually I don't think Diego is that bad, BJ is just that much better than everyone else in the lightweight division. The big question for the UFC is, where do we go with BJ from here?

Frankie Edgar

Edgar is a very well-rounded fighter that can cause problems for a lot of top-notch fighters, except BJ Penn. Penn would do to Edgar what he did to Diego Sanchez and everyone else. Dominate! Edgar wouldn't be ready for a fight like that.

Tyson Griffin

Tyson Griffin is a good fighter, holding a victory of WEC star Urijah Faber. He posseses a good standup game with some great wrestling ability, but again, I don't see him giving BJ any complications.

Gray Maynard

Maynard is indeed a "bully". When he faces people not dubbed "The Prodigy". Wrestling wise, Gray could win the fight, but BJ is very flexible and has outstanding Jiu Jitsu, so Penn could prbly tap him out on the ground. And standup, BJ will destroy him!

BJ Penn:

Go fight at middleweight! You destroy the lightweights, you at one time were a great Welterweight, but with what GSP has done to you, you might want to skip the welterweight action.
