A Letter To The Always Disappointing Adalius Thomas

Dear A.D.,

How dare you Adalius? Who do you think you are?

You get paid millions of dollars to play a game.

Yes, A.D. it’s a game.

There are many of your fellow citizens that are without jobs and would take thousands of dollars nevermind millions to pay their bills and get their lives back in order.

They would walk through a snowstorm let alone drive in one to get that opportunity.

They would watch the weather and leave with ample time.

Adalius, you could have easily rented a car company or had someone plow your driveway, if you couldn’t be bothered to take it upon yourself to be responsible.

You got sent home and you should have.

8 A.M. means 8 A.M.

Your teammate, Tom Brady had a baby and was there on time!

You still had a chance to take your medicine, shut your mouth, and move on.

Did you do that? Of course not.

You shot your mouth off and questioned your coach(boss).

In the real world A.D., if we did that we would be fired.

Your coach(boss) went out and signed you from the Baltimore Ravens for millions of dollars. He made you a very rich man and this is how you repay him?

You embarrass him?

The only thing you accomplished was to embarrass yourself with your “Jetsons” ,”Kindergarten” and “put up your toes and relaxed” comments.

Ray Lewis was right about you when he said, "When you take a shot at men that you claim to love to go to war with, I call those cowards." "If you have something to say privately, you don't have to go to a newspaper. If you have something to say to a man, speak it."

A.D., talk to your boss privately don’t go shoot your mouth off!

You are in no position to do so.

You show your teammates that you are a cancer and not a leader.

You show the fans that you are an underachieving and overpaid diva.

You show the other teams in the NFL that you are a bad, bad apple.

Adalius, the Patriots won without you(remember 59-0?) and they will again.

Oh yeah Ray Lewis sounded like Nostradamus, when he said, “We won a Super Bowl without Adalius Thomas. The New England Patriots won three Super Bowls without Adalius Thomas. You're talking about a guy who we put in - a great talent, don't ever get me wrong - but systematically we had to fit him into our schemes."

Well Mr. Thomas, you no longer fit in the New England Patriots “scheme”.  You were a big let down on the field and even a bigger one off it.

You survived a car accident that you gave you that nasty scar on your forehead!

Wouldn’t that be a constant reminder that you are blessed and should be grateful for everything you get in your life?!

I guess not….
