Go Ahead and Fall Off That Bandwagon.

Why the hate for Jacksonville ?

Lately I've been noticing a lot of harsh words and opinions going towards this rebuilding Jacksonville Jaguars team. Along side the whole push for Tim Tebow to be drafted by the Jags, I don't see what the big deal is.

I'm not big on Tebow at all, but if he will help the team win, and bring in more ticket sales; then by all means I think the Jaguars should draft him. I'll always be a Jaguars fan, seeing as Jacksonville is my hometown; and I want to see my team do the best it can. So many others aren't this way though. Yes the Jaguars have blacked out their games due to ticket sales, but to say the Jaguars should move out just because of a rough season, is outrageous.

Do I think the Jaguars should move to LA? Of course not. I just don't understand why so many people are jumping on the Jaguar Hate bandwagon, when really it's only been two rough seasons, and the Jags are 7-5 this season.

Three seasons ago the Jaguars were playoff bound, something MANY teams in the NFL haven't been able to say for themselves, for the longest time. The Raiders , the 49ers , the Lions to just name a few. Should they just leave the city they call home to move to LA?

I think they should more then the Jaguars should. Two seasons ago, situations not caused by the Jaguars arose, and their whole offensive line was devasted by a shooting tragedy, and ACL tears. The Jaguars did have one of their worst seasons that year, but have bounced back decently this season so far, 7-5.

I know people are going to think this opinion is totally biased due to the fact that I'm a Jaguar fan. I just don't see why after two rough seasons people are calling for their head. There are many teams that should already been given the axe, but do you hear them being talked about being moved to LA? No. It's probably the fans of those teams mentioned above calling for the Jaguars to be moved to LA.

We're 7-5 this season, and currently ranked higher then the former Super Bowl Champs, the Pittsburgh Steelers . It's a rebuilding year, and Garrard is proving that he can be a decent QB. If they draft Tebow, they may be able to use him as a QB, or a TE at best. Many QBs make the position switch after college, just look at Matt Jones.
