Gossip May Never Stop, But Tiger Woods' Indefinite Leave Best Move Yet

Family first, job second.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we all lived by that principle?

It finally appears as though Tiger Woods is making a decision that fits his old and squeaky clean image.

Tiger’s 2010 goals likely won’t include winning majors, but instead will include winning back over his family.

This is the Tiger Woods we all grew to know and love.

This is the Tiger Woods (at least I think) that we were all expecting (or at least hoping) to see when all this chaos first hit the fan.

THIS is the family-oriented Tiger Woods that he’s been selling for years and years.

I really hope this all works out for the best.

Regardless of getting more immoral tail than Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan combined, Woods can still fix his image.

Many people, at least at this point and time, are saying they will never forgive Tiger.

Or, they say the exact opposite and make it out to be that everyone sleeps around with women on a daily basis.

Am I missing something here? Because that statement doesn’t describe me or many people that I know.

Woods made a big mistake, there’s no doubt about it.

Now, it’s time to put golf on hold and put his attention where it should have been all along: on his wife and two young kids.

As a father of a two-year-old girl and one-month-old son, I really do feel for Woods in this time of extreme heartache for his family.

At the very least, he owes them putting his love and passion for golf second to them.

And as of Friday, Woods began taking steps in the right direction.

I applaud you for your latest move, Tiger; and I truly hope you can work everything out with your family and return to the golf course with a renewed energy and excitement that golf fans have become hooked on.

We’ll miss you while you’re gone; but we understand that this is the best damn decision you’ve made in years…
