My Washington Husky Christmas List

Another year, another holiday season without a bowl game for the Huskies.  Well I am here to tell you that next year get ready to pack your bags for Vegas or San Diego, Dawg fans!  A bowl game is just one of many things I wish for in the 2010 season.

Going bowling:

The Huskies won five games this year, so it is not out of the question to improve by a game or two and make it to a lower to middle PAC-10 bowl.  This is based on them winning at least six games.  The wins I see them beating Syracuse, Nebraska (upset), Arizona State, UCLA, Washington St., and another upset over Oregon St. or BYU.

A Locker full of Hardware:

Next is Jake Locker to ride into the sunset as an All-American and maybe a Heisman trophy winner.  This may be a long shot but there is not doubt he has the talent but in 2010 he will have such a wealth of skill players around him. 

A Dominant Defense:

A husky fan loves nothing more then a dominant Dawg defense.  When this is reality, it congers up images of Steve Emtman, Dave Hoffman, Lawyer Milloy, Dana Hall, D'marco Farr, and so on.  The Purple Haze defense must return to Montlake.

Duck Hunting:

The dawgs have lost to the Ducks too many times in a row.  Order must be restored to the world and an upset over the Ducks in Autzen is just the medicine. 

Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!

This team needs another feel good story of a player that was always too small to play at every level, but some how finds a way.  Husky fans all loved to watch Little Joe Jarzinka play in the late 1990s.  The Huskies always seem to play better when they are underdawgs especially when that is the embodiment of their team.
