Before we get started, check out this week’s round table debate on the top three fantasy basketball rookies (click here from the article ). You can also check out next week’s NBA schedule as you prepare to set your fantasy lineup (click here for the article ).
Now, here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Jonas Jerebko, Detroit Pistons
34 MIN, 12 PTS, 4-12 FG, 3-5 FT, 1 3PM, 8 REB, 1 STL, 2 TO
Once again Jonas makes the list. In his last four he’s averaging 13.8 points and 9.0 rebounds.
Ben Wallace, Detroit Pistons
35 MIN, 7 PTS, 2-7 FG, 16 REB, 3 AST, 3 STL, 1 BLK
Big Ben is averaging 11.8 rebounds over his last four games. It’s like he never left Detroit.
Andray Blatche, Washington Wizards
26 MIN, 17 PTS, 7-10 FG, 2-2 FT, 1 3PM, 3 REB, 3 AST, 5 STL, 1 TO
He clearly has it in him, but he just doesn’t get the opportunity he needs.
Matt Barnes, Orlando Magic
25 MIN, 17 PTS, 7-10 FG,2-2 FT, 1 3PM, 5 REB, 2 AST,, 1 TO
Barnes is averaging 24 minutes, 9.6 points, and 5.2 rebounds over his past five games. Not great numbers, but he could be a nice plug-in play in daily transaction leagues without maximum game caps.
C.J. Miles, Utah Jazz
28 MIN, 22 PTS, 9-17 FG, 1-2 FT, 3 3PM, 2 AST, 1 STL, 2 TO
Miles is averaging 15.3 points and 2.3 three-pointers over his last three games. He does little else, but could have value in daily transaction leagues if you need some three-pointers.
