John Wall the projected 1st pick
Kentucky’s John Wall is the projected #1 overall pick. It isn’t even a debate going on out there. We can prove no debate.
The Web’s biggest NBA Mock Draft Database was updated today and the Top 6 projected leaders was also revised. The Database munched together 12 2010 NBA Mocks that were updated thus far int he month of December. Results are predictable.
Of all 12 mocks updated in December, all 12, unanimous, have John Wall going first overall. Question is, who will be the top pick.
In 8 games, Wall has averaged 19 points, 3.8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals for the Kentucky Wildcats.
Derrick Favors currently leads the 2nd and 3rd slots in the Draft. In 7 games so far this season, Favors is averaging 13.9 points per game, 8.3 rebounds per game, and 2.1 blocks per game for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
Currently, the Minnesota Timberwolves (3-19) are hoping for Wall, but they have to beat out the New Jersey Nets (2-20). Hey, the Sixers (5-17) aren’t out of this chase either. Let the chase to be the worse go on.
Justin Hill thinks Wall will play one year, win the Championship, and bolt to the NBA. I think the first and last are correct. Don’t bank on Kentucky winning it all though. (Cincinnati Sports)
