JaMarcus Russell Comes Out Of Hiding
He's alive! JaMarcus Russell spoke to local reporters for the first time since Gradkowski replaced him as the starting quarterback. And while JaMarcus said he was going to be "a new JaMarcus" he sounded like the same man that we fans got sick and tired of and wanted Gradkowski to replace.
When asked if he would take a pay cut Russell responded "Oh no that's over and done with..." I have news for you JaMarcus. If you don't take a pay cut YOU will be over and done with to the Raider Nation. Russell threw 9 INTs with 2 TDs and several lost fumbles totalling 14 turnovers in 9 games. Is that worth 30-something million guarnteed. HELL NO!!!!

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
JaMarcus also refused to take the blame for his ineffective offense. He was saying that the quarterback needs to have help around him, which is true. But Russell never has taken responsibility for his bad judgement and mistakes. He has had recievers drop catchable passes but he has thrown many un-catchable passes that sail over a recievers head or too far in front or behind.
There have been many complaints of his work ethic and weight but Russell denied that either was an issue.
Q: Are your weight and work ethic not an issue, it’s just the on-field performance?
Russell: Yeah, that’s about it.
I hope JaMarcus Russell dramatically changes to "a new JaMarcus" before the next time he's on the field because I want a new JaMarcus to lead this team. Gradkowski gets my endorsement if Russell continues to throw his teammates under the bus instead of saying "I had a bad season." He's more accurate throwing his teammates under the bus than he is at throwing them a football.
One last thing, I do not hate JaMarcus, I want him to prove me and the other critics wrong. I want him to make me look dumber than Donavan McNabb looked when he said he didn't know a game could end in a tie.
