2009-10 College Football Bowl Games Predictions Match-Ups, Part 2

The 2009 bowl predictions matchups are up. Itโ€™s time for OffshoreInsiders.com annual breakdown of the bowls. Here is part 2 of the bowl betting breakdowns. All quoted marks are against the spread. ย 

Wisconsin vs. Miami Florida (Champs Sports Bowl)

The Badgers are 21-6 when allowing less than 20 points in their last game. They are also 1-7 after allowing less than 275 total yards per game.

The Hurricanes are 7-3 in bowl games, but 11-26 off an ATS loss. Theyโ€™ve failed in 24-of-34 games as favorites. The U is also 2-9 off a win of 20 or more.

Bowling Green vs. Idaho (Humanitarian Bowl)

The Falcons are 21-6 after getting less than 170 yards passing last game. The Vandals are 6-21 off loss. Theyโ€™ve dropped five straight overall.

Nebraska vs. Arizona (Holiday Bowl)

The Cornhuskers are 9-3 after getting less than 170 yards passing last game but 8-21 after allowing less than 275 total yards last game.

The Wildcats are 7-1 after getting less than 100 yards rushing last game. Arizona is 16-33 off spread win and 14-33 as favorites.

Air Force vs. Houston (Armed Forces Bowl)

The Falcons are 7-20 after allowing more than 280 yards passing last game. The Cougars are 5-0 off a straight up loss.

Stanford vs. Oklahoma (Sun Bowl)

The Sooners are 13-3 after allowing less than 275 total yards previous game. The Cardinal has gone under 29-9 off ATS loss.

Navy vs. Missouri (Texas Bowl)

The Midshipmen are 8-2 in December. The Tigers are 1-8 against teams with a winning record, but 10-3 in non-conference games.

Iowa State vs. Minnesota (Insight Bowl)

The Cyclones are 6-22 after getting less than 100 yards rushing last game. Minnesota is 25-11 after scoring less than 20 points last game. They are 1-6 off spread win.

Tennessee vs. Virginia Tech (Chick Fil-A Bowl)

The Volunteers are 4-16 as underdog of 3.5-10. The Hokies are 16-5 on Thursdays. Tech has also gone under 12-0 on Thursdays.

Northwestern vs. Auburn (Outback Bowl)

The Wildcats are 8-1 as an underdog. They are 16-34 off a straight up win. Auburn is 3-9 after allowing less than 100 yards rushing last game and 2-7 off straight up loss.

Louisiana State vs. Penn State (Capital One Bowl)

The Tigers are 8-20 on grass.

Florida State vs. West Virginia (Gator Bowl)

The Seminoles are 7-0 on neutral sites. West Virginia is 3-11 to the ACC.
