The Tiger Snowball Rolls on With No Signs of Stopping

When word that Tiger Woods was in an accident and rushed to the hospital I text'd my wife about it.  It was a big enough story because of how young and successful Tiger is that it warranted a somewhat unusual "hey, did you hear about this" text from me.

If only the fender bender were the beginning and end of this saga.

No, the story continues to roll downhill taking Tiger with it.

"Tiger Woods is the first person in history to run his car into a hydrant and set himself on fire." - Rick Riley, ESPN.

I've officially reached my point of saturation.  I however, like the rest of America and the world, will likely continue to click on the link taking me to the latest and most up to date Tiger drama.

I can think of few things worse than having to live through a painful and embarrassing revelation privately.  Having to do it publicly borders on cruel and unusual punishment.

Please don't misunderstand me; Tiger messed-up and has to face the music—not to mention Elin's lawyers—but this is getting hard to watch.

Another day, another porn star.

Even schoolkids are piling on.  Fundraisers at Clintonville Middle School hoped to net between $1200 to $1600 for an autographed picture of Tiger.  The proceeds would fund a trip to Disney World.  The picture sold for $300.  The kids blame Tiger for missing out on the trip of a lifetime.

"We haven't seen a Tiger misbehave this badly since the one who ate Roy." -Jay Leno.

Today comes word of yet another mistress, release of somewhat racy text messages and word of photos.

Porn Star Joslyn James (real name Veronica Siwik-Daniels) is now number...oh I don't know.  Google Ms. James and you may find she specializes in a particular act on film.  Porn Stars have specialities now?  Who knew.

Jaimee Grubbs, number such and such, released text messages from the golf great.  Nothing really earth-shattering in terms of being obscene but shocking in how immature this otherwise seemingly mature man comes across.

"I will wear you out...when was the last time you got (bleeped)?"

"Send me something very naughty...Go to the bathroom and take (a picture)."

Really?  Is this Tiger the 33 year old man or Tiger Woods pubescent junior higher?

Rachel Uchitel, number who cares, said in an interview, “I’ve been characterized as a villain. People have called me a home-wrecker, gold digger, tramp, whore. I make mistakes, but I’m not those things. I have very good qualities. When you’re judged by the nation, it’s really difficult. It’s horrible.”

I agree Rachel.  Playing this out nationally, heck internationally, is horrible.

The only one capable of putting brakes on this mess however has a history of being very private.  The thought of doing what it takes to stop this tsunami by appearing on Oprah, for example, must eat at Tiger's very core.

Now comes word of pictures.  Tiger topless and sure even pictures of Tigers 9-iron. 

“We were approached by a third party who wanted to know our ‘interest level’. Our lawyers are currently going over them, the source, the entire package,” Playgirl rep Daniel Nardicio said.

I'm not making this up, he said "the entire package".  I doubt it was his attempt at humor, but who knows—everyone is taking a crack at Tiger, right?
