Who Will Be This Years MVP? Brees, Johnson, Manning Head Top 5.
With 13 weeks of the regular season down who will be this year's Most Valuable Player? Will it be The Forty Year old kid Brett Favre in his career season leading the Vikings to a 10-2 record while throwing for 26TD's and only 5INT's. He has accrued more than 3,000 yards with a passer rating of 108.5.
It could also be the leader of one of the undefeated's. The former MVP Peyton Manning who has more that 3,500 yards, 25TD's, and a rating of 101.9. Peyton however has thrown 11 INT's. The other undefeated quarterback is Drew Brees. He has really come to life the past few seasons, becoming the second quarterback to throw for more than 5,000 yards in a season. This year he has the league's best rating at 111.3, and a league high 29 TD's this year. He ranks third in yards with more than 3,500, and he has thrown only 10 INT's.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Another name that pops up when you talk about the Most Valuable player is Chris Johnson. The running back is having one of the best seasons all time, even playing for a team that isn't the greatest. He has an astounding 1,509 yards rushing in his first 12 games, and has a possibility of being crowned the rushing champion at the end of the season. He may not get the record, but he should easily get the 2,000 yards. He has got 9 TD's rushing to go along with that. He also has a great chance to break Marshall Faulk's record for Yar's from Scrimmage in a season set in 2004. That record is a little over 2,400 while Johnson has accrued over 1,800 yards already.
The fifth and final guy on my MVP list would be Aaron Rodgers. He is second to Drew Brees in passer rating, and is 5th in yards with just under 3,400 yards, and has 25TD's and only 7INT's.
Saying that it is the Most Valuable Player and that the team's record shouldn't play in really(of course to be valuable he has to help the team) then I would say Chris Johnson would have to be a top 3 contender. Obviously everyone has their own opinions on this, and only one poll will matter at the end of the year.
The way I would have my top 5 would be as follows...
1) Drew Brees - 3,536 yards, 29TD's*, 10INT's, and a rating of 111.3*
2) Chris Johnson - 1,509 yards rushing*, 9 rushing touchdowns, 322 Receiving yards with a TD to go along
3) Peyton Manning - 3,685 yards*, 25TD's, 11INT's, and a rating of 101.9
4) Aaron Rodgers - 3,399 yards, 25TD's, 7INT's, and a rating of 103.9
5) Brett Favre - 3,149 yards, 26TD's, 5INT's, and a rating of 108.5
Of course these are subject to change over the last 4 weeks, and it is just an opinion. Feel free to leave a comment on your opinion.
