Tiger Woods, Come Out of Hiding and Apologize Because America Will Forgive You
Tiger Woods needs to quit hiding out in his million-dollar mansion and start answering some questions.
While spending most of today cleaning the apartment with my wife, I was checking the sports sites and keeping up with the news (as per usual), and Woods and more allegations were popping up all over the place.
I believe the latest tally is 11 women and counting (as a side note, I do want to point out that I am not going back on my take a look in the mirror piece; but this has gotten out of control).
Whether we’re talking about Bill Clinton or Roger Clemens, Woods needs to learn from others mistakes and just fess up and ask for forgiveness.
I’m fairly certain that most of America will be quick to forgive and forget.
But right now, at this point in time, Woods is THE epitome of a true fall from glory to disgrace.
My biggest problem with this Tiger mess isn’t that he was sleeping with every woman under the sun; it’s the fact he’s been doing so while married and with kids at home.
If Woods wants to jump every cute blonde that walks his way, that’s fine; just don’t get married.
I was talking to my best friend on the phone earlier this evening before he boarded a flight, and we were discussing Tiger’s tragedy; the one thing he kept pointing out is that Woods should just hold a press conference and apologize to the nation.
He’s exactly right.
The sooner Woods addresses these allegations, the sooner he can put this all behind him.
The longer he hides, the more the media will continue to rail him.
From his hair-pulling fetish to the possibility of future photos in Playgirl, Woods has a whirlwind of issues ahead of him.
Word also recently surfaced that Gatorade is dropping its endorsement deal with Woods.
Tiger Woods' worst nightmare is playing out right before his eyes (and in front of the rest of the world as well) at this very moment.
My advice to Tiger would be fairly simple: Get out of your house and talk about your personal life; the longer you bury your head in the sand trap, the longer this course will be...
