WWE TLC-Predictions: Here's Mine
Okay, first article, so imagine the excuses for not having that much inside knowledge, writing like a wannabe-smark, making tons of writing mistakes for not being a native speaker, and any other excuse, you'd like to read in here. I thought, I just start up with my thoughts about the results for the upcoming PPV, as there will be a lot these days, and if mine is too bad, it will be buried soon.
Let's see...
John Morrison vs Drew McIntyre
There was not really a build up to this one, so it's hard to say, what we will get to see. I guess, it will be at least a nice match and a good opener (or lower card match, if they start with an other one). Normally I'd guess, it would be a title defense, but as we need a good balance between face and heel victories, I say, McIntyre wins. A bit early for him maybe, but not too much.
The Undertaker vs Batista
I'm pretty sure, this will be the lamest match of the evening. After the several sneak attacks on the Undertaker and the total destruction of Mysterio, that's most likely to happen on Friday, as I think, the outcome should be clear. Batista hits Taker with a chair, Taker does same with Batista, they do so again, Taker unearthly recovers once or twice, finally hits a tombstone on Batista on a chair and wins. Sloooow pace.
Randy Orton vs Kofi Kingston
Honestly, I expected Orton to destroy Kingston on Survivor Series already. He did not then, he will do now. We'll see some nice actions of Kingston, but mainly it will be Orton dominating and taking the victory in the end.
John Cena vs Sheamus
We all know, what the outcome of this match will be. Sheamus will be dominating, making Cena spend 90% of the time on the ground, until he unexpectedly recovers, shows his moveset and... gets slammed through a table. New champ Sheamus? Nope. Cena orders and gets an instant rematch (why else should they mention that so often), quickly getting the win and the title back. Aftermath: Orton shows up and claims that after Cenas first loss, he's allowed to challenge for the belt again.
Christian vs Shelton Benjamin
These two promised to steal the show, and I'm quite sure, they will. I'm looking foreward to that as the best match of the PPV. Spectacular high risk and air maneuvers. About the outcome: Face vs face is always a bit hard to predict, but I guess, it will be Benjamin. Christian should leave ECW before the show ends officially, and this would be a good opportunity.
Jeri-show vs DX
I don't know about Big Show, but the other three will deliver a pretty good match (and main event, I think). I would be surprised, if there was not at least a codebreaker, a super kick and a pedigree that each involve a ladder or a table. In the end, we will see the duo Michaels/Helmsley winning their first tag title as team. Jeri-Show will quickly disband, maybe beating each other after the match, but not feuding. Maybe we'll see a feud Jericho-Christian coming up.
After all, it looks like a good PPV. If they don't decide to make up a Divas match last minute, there should be only one fail on the card. There have been worse this year. I hope, reading was not that bad, and I won't be proven too wrong.
