The Most Realistic Answer To Arsenal's Problems Is The Most Ridiculous
Before I start off, let me state two things :
The first is that if Wenger indeed buys a new striker in January, then someone might get the axe soon enough, for Arsenal will have too many players in attack. I don't think that Eduardo and Bendtner would be willing to spend too much time on the bench, not to mention that there will be RVP as well, making it 4 attackers in a team that plays with 1 attacker and two players out wide in a 4-3-3 formation.
The second is a recap on the current injury crisis that Arsenal is facing. Here are the names of the injured players in the squad :

Eduardo (Might be available next week)
Rosicky (Out for a month)
Abou Diaby (Might be available next week)
Bendtner (Out for at least 3 weeks)
Walcott (Might be available next week)
Sagna (Might be available next week)
RVP (Out for 4 to 5 months)
Gibbs (Out for at least 3 months)
Clichy (Out for at least 3 weeks)
Djourou (Out for at least 6 to 8 months)
With Traore injured for 3 weeks and maybe more, Arsenal is without a left back, meaning that the team will be royally screwed from the left side. That is another problem that needs to be addressed.
Arsenal is short on attackers with RVP out. Wenger says it's very hard to find a world class player who is not cup tied in the Champions League and could help Arsenal with winning trophies.
However, when it comes to attack there is an answer, but that answer is way out of Arsenal's budget.
The answer is quite simply: David Villa.
Considered one of the best strikers on the planet, Villa is not cup tied to the Champions League and said that he liked Arsenal's style of play.
Indeed this is way out of Arsenal's budget, but realistically, this is the only man that can truly make the difference that Arsenal need.
In the midst of this injuries galore, Arsenal needs backup, not to mention the left back position, which is currently occupied by Silvestre, who isn't fast, consistent or capable of playing as a left back in his current form. He is better off as a central defender.
Arsenal need an answer to their prayers. When ever a player goes down, all the fans are nervous. Wenger needs to reinforce his squad with players even if they are just on loan for six months or so.
Rumors state that Arsenal is considering a move for Bojan, though I doubt that this might happen. But even if Arsenal buy a striker and a left back what would happen once the injured players return?
Arsenal can't have massive squad depth like Chelsea and pay them to stay with the team. However, they need an answer to their problems soon.
While David Villa is way out of Arsenal's league in terms of money and Bojan a highly unlikely option, there is still a good chance that Arsenal might still buy an attacker in January.
Who that player is remains to be seen.
